Abhishek Parab

I have graduated as a PhD student in Number Theory in May 2018 under the guidence of Prof. Freydoon Shahidi. My thesis was a small step towards the Langlands Program which is a technical but very active area of research.

Since August 2018, I am working as a Data Scientist at IRI in Chicago.

MY RESEARCH

My thesis is related to Arthur-Selberg trace formula. Specifically, I show that the geometric and spectral distributions in the twisted trace formula extend to non-compactly supported test functions.

I am currently working on using the twisted trace formula to give a Weyl law for self-dual automorphic representations of GL(N) without descending to classical groups.
